Well Bob ive said it before!!
Amazing skill there.
Me myslef have been struck of the i have no go, and i cant bare myself to work on the model right now.
Not of illnes just that i have no mood for it

.
And im working my arse of right now, pardon my language.
Hopefully when the packs arrive i might get new fuel.

Keep it up and get that beast out of the garage

But do the bins first hihi.

very nice work Bob, i like the paint work, but agree with Allan those tracks need to see some mud.

I'm trying to get it wired up at this moment so I can take it for a spin. Electronics are not my strong suit. I agree the tracks need to get dirty.

We had some super nice weather lately so I decided to get some outside shots. I think its safe to say the painting and weathering is pretty much complete.
Now if Ican just get the @#@$%^ electronics wiring working I'd be a happy camper!

As Derek said, it would pass for a 1:1 in the right setting. You should be very proud!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and remarks.

Finally got to test drive the Panther. What a thrill the first drive is! I've been waiting for this day for months! Actually just drove the lower hull - less turret. But it made some cool tracks in the dirt! And tore up some huge chunks of grass! The sqeaking tracks are so realistic! Also a couple shots of my rigged up load unload ramps. Eeek, have to do better with this set up -don't want an updside down tank!

The first thing you realize when you try to get this thing on the ground is -These are BIG, HEAVY models!

It was great fun - they drive like a real tank! I will hopefully have some better video in the future! All video taken with Kodak 8.2 Mpixel Easyshare camera (approx $100 USD). Technology, gotta love it.

Didn't have the track tension set quite right, which really scratched the paint off the rear idlers - but that is realistic. Other than that the idlers worked perfectly. The suspension worked perfectly!

The tracks are now officially scratched and dirty!

the beast moves into life,well done,as you say robert these kits are heavy when completed,but that adds to the realism.
