Bolt down Armor guard for engine compartment vent.

Post by Paul Morris »

Hi Fellas.
I have made one of these for my King Tiger and thought i would see if anyone else wanted one, as the title says its a bolt down armored cover for the engine compartment vent, see pics below. You can see pics of the real thing in the Jentz / Doyle book VK45.02 to Tiger 11 this part can be seen on many King tigers including the tank on dispaly at "La Gleize" Belgium which is a tank completed by Henschel in October 1944.
If there is enough interest the parts like this one will be machined from aluminium and ready to fit into the Armortek supplied part.
Thank's Paul.
