Hi guys
Thanks again for the nice comments.
I am having a great time building the Stug.
I have started to think about the fenders I have bent the angles so they look
more like the real thing but now I need to make new brackets I got some
pictures at the museum and will put something together in the next few days.

Hi Guys
I have been doing more work on the gun elevation

mount I will post pictures tomorrow if I can.
This will be the last post for a while as I go into hospital for another
big operation on my knee on monday 1st June and will be there for about 10 days. so no Stuging ???? for a while.
All the best
Derek

Derek,
I'm sorry to hear that you are out of action for such a long time. I think I would be tearing my hair out after a week. All i can suggest is planning your way through the rest of the build so you have a clear path to follow when you are up to starting again. A superb model though

Hi Guys
I want to find a gear or half gear to mount on the base plate of the
gun mount for the Stug gun to get the rotation.
It only moves about 10 degrees either side of center.
This in an ideal world would match the pinion on the Armortek rotation motor.
Can anyone (Mark) tell me what the tooth pitch and number of teeth are on the supplied pinion, and also does anyone know where I might
get a matching gear wheel about 100 mm dia.
Plan B is to use a really big servo to get this movement directly under the pivot shaft what do you guys think???
Thanks
Derek

Hi Guys
A couple of pictures of my Stug at Wings and Wheels a few weeks back,
these show a bit more progress mainly on the mods to the side fenders.
I will be making new support brackets but I have cut and bent the fenders to give an improved line.
I have also started the rear vent cover on the crew area.
Robins Tiger in the back ground and Johns Half track and 88 is also on show.
Regards
Derek
