I've neglected this with the Tiger build going but I put some quick paint on it without any wear and tear/weathering added. I plan on painting it the proper creme/off-white color. It sure adds to the open cupola even when a figure is there. I have not fixed the periscopes yet but was just taking some pictures of Tiger parts and thought I'd post this too.

Looks fantastic Tim! Just need some scopes installed and you're set. I'd like to get my hands on one of those inserts! I think I can make it fit around my already installed scopes.
great details!

Latest pictures

I finally had the chance to mold and cast up some of the periscope bracket inserts and a quick coat of black primer to see what they look like. Prism housings will get the bakelite paint and fake prism glass like my hull periscopes. That and some weathering to all the parts.

Now all I have to do is machine the kits cupola periscope openings :?

They're not fixed in place so some are sitting crooked. Image

Someday, this Panther will be finished!

Redid the scopes so they have the corrected angle and have made them hollow so I can insert clear material to represent the prism/glass. I still have not machined my own cupola to fit these but now that these are finally completed, hope to do it soon and take some photos. Been busy with lots of other stuff.
