YouTube start to remove my videos due to "hate speech"

Hi, it just happened to me since three days ago. I wonder who else experience this too :

Since Sun 06/04/2025 , I have received 4 emails from YouTube, advised me so far 4 of my upload videos were removed . They were up-loaded in 2011.

The reason was the same --- I have disobeyed the "Hate Speech Policy".

I checked these four videos again , found I didn't disobey such policy whatsoever. One of them I had answered my friend not in English (also not in hate speech). The other three I was alone and hadn't even said a word.

I immediately launch appeals on each one . The one I have said words is accepted and been re-uploaded , but two were rejected. The latest one is under reviewing.

I don't know why do they take this action 14 years later. When they accept the first appeal , why rejected the other two again , and very doubt they will accept the fourth's one.

What worries me more is this could be just the beginning. Think I will receive more of this ridiculous emails everyday , until all of my videos been removed even I appeal them one by one.

Is there anybody also experience such nonsense from YouTube?

Yes other RC Tanks forum people have the same complaints. It's ridiculous and you can't argue with Youtube (or Meta for that matter).

My worries just became true. YouTube again reject my appeal and remove the 4th videos based on their strange hate speech policy . Ignored my point that "I haven't said a word" in it.

Now I can only prepare to receive the similar email everyday , do appealing , then been rejected everyday. Not sure how long will it take before all of my videos been removed. What a nonsense !

YouTube said that they used a combination of automated systems and human reviews to detect violations of the guidelines. So I can only assume their AI systems HAL9000 went crazy , and their human crews remain in deep hibernation , or life functions terminated.

Hi Chang, I have experienced this also with 3 of my tank videos containing no humans speaking, but it had music that was stated as hate speech

One possible conclusion is that the AI is not trained at all, just making decisions based on a few images and words.
Context for the AI is missing, i.e. not being able to distinguish between historical factual film material, a scale model
being shown by an enthusiastic builder or the actual monstrosities going on in Ukraine, and other parts of the world.
(Although I hope Armortek comes out with a T-90 with the option of a flying turret

The fact that YT still removes a video after a complaint, says enough of the quality of service from YT.
It also could mean that YT has lack of diverse content, maybe they believe that people are only interested
in cat or dog vids? (a good 50% of it's content is like that......)

From many people's experiences , I can conclude that YouTube start using strange hate speech policy to remove your video(s) , allow you to appeal , but immediately reject it without really reviewing your appeal. Finally disallow you to appeal again. End of this absurd story. Only to start a new one soon.

Some comrades were lucky to reverse the reject by using not YouTube but facebook or X for adressing the YouTube crew. One comrade had the funny idea to use ChatGPT against YouTube-KI, and he was successful. In an additional disclaimer with the video there must appear keywords like ' tankmodel', 'only for documentation purposes', 'not a political statement'' and so on to bring to mind that the shown tanks are not originals of WW II and the video shows only toys for adults....

You-tube delete also a video on my you-tube channel after 15 years?
Because you see a little part of the swastika flag on the turret of my tiger 1
I try to put it back but it dont work.

I didn't say a word in most of my videos because I was alone.
I didn't paint any Swastika , even small one.
Only one scale Balkenkreuz for historical purpose. Is it illegal now?

Just looked at our videos, which have the cross shown, quite clearly. We are still there.

The Balkenkreuz indeed is suspected to cause the inquiry of the video, but it ist not the only reason to refuse the permission to show it.

Even in Germany the Balkenkreuz is not illegal.
