Re: The SdKfz 7 begins
A few hours spent sanding and cleaning suspension arm parts to get smooth rotation. Bit more to do before I give a final degrease / clean and then etch prime. Was going to leave shafts bare and coat with lithium grease as specified. Or should I etch prime them as well?

After few hours sanding, cleaning and degreasing ready for etch prime. Surprising how shiny they become. I imagine an unpainted built kit would look pretty impressive.

Re: The SdKfz 7 begins
Lubrication query. The current version of the SdKfz 7 kit recommends lithium grease for the suspension shafts. However, I have part used cans of ROCOL OxyLube and ROCOL Dry Moly Spray. Would these be better than the Lithium Grease?

Kian sent me this photo of angle to set on Idler assembly. Hopefully of use to other builders.

Thank you very much for this explanation. I asked myself the same question about how to consider the 20° angle.Andy Walker wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 2:57 pmKian sent me this photo of angle to set on Idler assembly. Hopefully of use to other builders.
