2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Well, not that i am unhappy with the result i still have issue with the end caps not taking the etch.
Not sure if it is a Material issue or where i never grit blasted them for conditioning.
either way it will be a little touch up on the ends with an airbrush, otherwise i like the effect, many of the pictures show the original tracks to be of similar colour.

i used Caswell Stainless Steel blackener, used on cables and such like first.
coating is relative to time in solution, it etches into the aluminium quite well.
i have a few Boffins on staff that assured me once neutralized in fresh water it was safe.
it is a toxic solution so use appropriate ppe.

have a few other items i soak for the same results, almost like the burnish solutions purchased but on a more commercial line as the size of the tracks.
using a large pail i wired up each end of the track and see-sawed the whole length end to end, you can see the results quickly and stop anytime, if more needed redo.
