But perhaps Armortek could simply produce an upgrade kit with pressed steel roadwheels for the FAMO.

Leaf springs for the Sd Kfz 7. They have come out great and we have added the central hole for the locking fastener.

The upper body has been on and off the model several times as we test out the steering, drive, winch etc - so the photos do not follow a linear build progression.

This first photograph shows the model with the tracks on.

And a couple more showing the new track design with the rubber inserts. They have made a huge difference to the look of the halftrack.

The photo below shows the completely re-designed sprocket.

This one shows the new rear end - with re-designed bin doors and latches.

Then we have the front leaf springs mounted in place. It is not easy to photograph the roadwheel leaf springs in place .. so no good photos of that i'm afraid,

A couple photos of the new steering mechanism - we have added an adjustable servo saver to better cope with rough terrain.

And finally a photograph showing the all new hardened brushless drive system in place.

Wow, I'm super excited for this and the Flak 88. Thank you Armortek for all the time and effort you folks are making to update and improve the kit, those wheels and the drive wheels are pure eye candy.
