Re: 2024 SD KFZ 7 ARMORTEK KIT
First class!
Those road wheels will certainly spruce things up a lot and save time also- having to mount those cast versions on an indexing head to mill out all those slots was, *ahem*, a fair amount of work...
Outstanding execution..

Re: 2024 SD KFZ 7 ARMORTEK KIT
Some final renders of the Sd Kfz7 out of solidworks.
Production has been in full swing for a few weeks and over the next weeks and as we start bending up some of the sheet metal we will also start posting pictures of the sub assemblies being constructed.
In addition to all that - the front, middle and rear seats are now hinged so that they all open to reveal storage space. It is likely that we will put the speed controllers under the front seats, but that is not finalised yet.

Re: 2024 SD KFZ 7 ARMORTEK KIT
A few images to round off the week - these show the windscreen. The drivers side is broken into two parts and the top part can be swivelled.
The bolts on the top are just standard M3 for now - we will manufacture some custom fasteners.

Re: 2024 SD KFZ 7 ARMORTEK KIT
We have now reached the stage where we need to start verifying the instruction manuals, fasteners used, construction approach as well as a last check of all the parts produced. We do this through a production validation build.
Below are some images of this build as we progress over the next 2-3 weeks, updating the drawings and fastener lists as we go.

Nice.
Thanks for the update. I'm glad to know that everything is progressing well and I can already imagine building it myself...

Wow, what a difference that makes. Well done Armortek. Kits just seem to be getting better and better all the time.
