Hi Ad,

If all goes to plan the model will be capable of being built fully to scale or modified with some of the interior hidden by one of our cast tanker busts to hide the servo operating mechanism.................................. :?

Hi Ad,

All efforts have been going into completing the nursery with our new arrival due in the next 2 weeks. With that and orders the quad hasn't moved on much from War and Peace.

The drawings for the lower extension drums and plates went off for RP yesterday and I am hoping to be back on the detailing by the end of the month.

Cheers

Dave

Wow Dave that is absolutely amazing work. It boggles my mind that you can resin cast all those complex parts and details and have them come out looking like that. Fantastic! That will be one awesome kit for the M16 halftrack.

Hi Ad,

I am back working on the side plates and elevation parts which should progress over the next couple of weeks.I will post a few more pics when these bits are done. I have been struggling with lack of inspiration which I seem to get from time to time, I suppose the best way to describe it is like "Writers Block" but with models. When I get like this I either produce junk (which just makes it worse) or I look at something for ages and just can't figure out where to start with it.

I picked up a load of bits for a 105mm recently and working on the odd bit for that over the last couple of weeks seems to have done the trick so hopefully I will start churning stuff out again.

I have posted a few of the pics I took of the M16 we had with us at War and Peace a few weeks ago which includes a lot of the details I was missing. Once its all done I may put them all on a CD for those who want the extra reference details.

I can't really tell you when the quad will be finished only that it will be at some point, no project has completely stumped me yet although some take longer than others. Maybe if I made everything on a computer rather than by hand it would be different but I'm too set in my ways now

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your update. Good to hear that you are still working on it from time to time.
I am all too familiar with "modellers block" :(
