All links are etch primed then painted with a base coat of dark grey.
Then a light spray of rust effect paint.
Then another light coat of the dark grey over the top.
I’m hoping the rust effect will show through with some ware and tear.

Tracks look excellent Andrew . Did you use back super etch for the primer ? .Dale

I had a go at painting my pipes today, happy with the results, it’s a shame no one is going to see them
