Clive I'll say -it turned out great. The dozer may come in handy for handling yard work. Do you have a mowing attachment?
Would you sell any plans or drawings for your fantastic E8 Sherman? I'm curious how you made the turret - one large allum casting?
I'd like to build a 1/6 M26 Dragon Wagon, but not sure how to make the tires.
Thanks! Any info would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Bob

Hi Bob
sorry again about the sherman, built using a 1/35 scale plastic kit as a plan, so no drawings again, turret is a composite build using firstly thin ply and then glass fibre on the outer faces, then the inner faces so the finished job is very strong, and Allen the dozer tracks are two pieces of bright mild steel fused together in an oven and then heat treated to harden them when finished.

Paul,
Would love to have the Sherm- its a beauty. But the E8 is my fav version. My budget won't stand another tank at the moment - which as you can imagine is madenning.
Clive, no prob on the drawings. You have done a magnificent job scaling up! T-anks for the inspiration! I was thinking plywood layers then fiberglass with epoxy would work well for a large turret. Could even make the T23 turret for the Sherman I have! That would be a nice addition.
Clive, one more question, if I may. How do you make rubber tyres? How did you make the tyres for the Opel Blitz? Sorry to all to hog the "events" link.
Allan, The DH10 must have been a hoot to drive. I've never driven anything bigger than a D8, but thats a good size machine too. A D10 would be massive.

Hi fellas.
Back to Leighton Hall, i sent a mail to Lucy as promised... i mentioned the track down to the running ground and the 4 stone gate posts by the walled area, the possibility of borrowing there J.C.B. or us paying there driver, what they thought about us hiring a mini digger, the fact that Richie and Lisa had built a bridge that was now stored in there shed and the fact that we now wanted to put on a padlock and give them a spare key and finally if she had heard anything about the other running ground near the sanctuary...i got a reply today and here it is copied and pasted for you.
Hi Paul,
I will be very up front, I had completely forgotten. I will talk to Stephen and come back to you.
Cheers
