Had some more fun today, thou my back was hurting as hell.
Tried some first time mooves again on the underside of the panniers if it would be awful. So i took that as a training area .
And i assembled the tracks and meeen that was time consuming and my thumbs are numb after it .
Nice pice of Hardcore Tracks!!!!
The locking collar and splitpins wich are small and thumbnumbing.
Last one !!!!!
OMG!!!! Ive been in a Charcoal mine all day and i HAVE already washed 2 times lol
First weld ever made !!!!!
I just kept going.
The weld around the back had to go was too ugly!!!!!
Well thats all for tonite. Hopefully ill do some tomorrow also
Happy trails guys

Paycheck!? Doesn't your son realize the reward of his labor is the excellent model itself and that should be enough!? Kids these days. sarcasm

Okies here are the pics as promised. The camera didnt give up just had to buy new recageble batteries, DAMN!
Rightside suspension mounted, as i have limited space i take one side at the time .
Doesent it look nice with wheels on.
Here Mr.Dremel had to work to get them grooves from the mill away.
Im not done yet with it have to smoothe the surface and do some edge trimming, then polish and then mabey etch prime
Thats how it was from the box.
Well more to come in the week guys.
Good night

Hohooo Obiwan im glad i pleased you with my training .
Well i know now why yours will take its time, im gona be stunned by your panther im sooo certain of it.
Its damn fun with the dremel, but have to be careful to not overdo it. And as we know takes time. All in all 1 wheel with all moments and paints etc approx some between 3 - 5 hour:) plus paintdry time.
I missed some spots on the outer rim thou in the upper ovals but im gona fix that and do some of your thing there 2.
The hull sides just needs another sanding treatment and i think ive got them smoothe enough.
And Kent.
The guide will surely help more to be able to do the sweet treatment . Thank you !!!!
Well mates i have another whole side to do tonite so id better be on it.
Bye

You've certainly got that finishing technique off to a fine art, it looks exactly like the real thing. I've only just noticed how few teeth the King Tiger sprockets have. When I built the Tamiya 1/16th model I thought that they had compromised on the design to avoid weakining the tracks too much by not putting a tooth slot in the small track link.
