I've checked a couple of things with Kian regarding page 16 of the manual.

1) Part CG1244C is shown held by an M8 Nut. If vehicle is going to be run it requires an M8 washer also.

2) Part CG1244A has 2 small threaded holes in its side. If vehicle is going to be run then it requires M4 Grub screws in these holes to help keep shafts in place.

Update : the washers and grub screws are included in the motion pack.

Something I also discovered after assembling and fitting the Front Spring Assy, was that you need to pay close attention to the exact way the leaves are aligned. I had CG1231 the other way round to that shown on the diagram, with the end with the slight upward curve the same side as the tubular shaped end of CG1230. This caused the spring to foul on the M3 X 20 button screw holding CG0229 at the other end.

Hello 7 builders, i used a Nyloc nut on this part, seems to work well and you dont need to tighten too much and allows plenty of movement in the arm, regards simon.

Mid spring assembly finished. Where necessary, parts were sanded, and then all parts were cleaned, etch primed and undercoated. Each individual leaf spring was given a coating of white lithium grease before final assembly.

Hi Dale,
The wheels didn't need any sanding luckily..just degreased them and then Halfords grey etch primer.
Those sprocket rings were a pain though . A few hours gently sanding/filing to fit the hub, and each hole to fit the rollers.

In agree, the sprockets were a pain, I am still deciding whether to disassemble mine, again, as I have one or two rollers that wont "spin"

I'm not sure it matters if the rollers don't spin as such. I think as long as they turn freely it should be okay. With a bit of use they will 'wear' in anyway.

I have a question regarding the front wheel steering Arms CG0306. These screw into part CG1304A. If screwed in fully they stop at the wrong angle to fix to the Tie Rod. However, I assume they should be fully tightened and threadlocked to stop them moving. Do the Steering Arms CG0306 need shims on the threaded part to allow them to tighten fully into part CG1304A Stub Axle A at the appropriate angle? Also, is there a set angle to use?

Im not sure what happens at this stage, at the moment the arms 0306 are not loktited in and can move. I am waiting to see what happens once the motion pack is installed. I personally don't like doing anything that cant be adjusted. I incidentally, there is not a lot of clearance between any of these parts and I ended up building up the bump stops to give a bit more.
