Hi, im building the skzd 7 and assured the boss that there would not be any more expenditure as I had the radio. Turns out that my Futaba 40MHZ T7CP set is defunct, rather the receiver is. Seems 40MHZ receivers are no longer available. Will the 2.4MHZ sets work on Armorteks controllers?
Thanks in advance
2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY
Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.
So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.
We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.
Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Re: Radio set help
Hi Colin - any radio system will work, there is no incompatibility with the radio. Just choose one with which you are familiar and have enough channels for all your functions. Mixing might be needed as you want to put forward/backward and steering on one stick? I use a 15 year old Futaba FX-32 with 2.4 GHz and dual receivers. But there are more experienced colleagues on the forum here ...

Re: Radio set help
Just what I wanted to hear. Seems that Futaba may be the more viable option. Just an expense I assured the boss I wouldnt have to pay. But now im going to pay, oh boy will I!Andre Meylan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 2:45 pmHi Colin - any radio system will work, there is no incompatibility with the radio.
