Haven't had a lot of time to spend on this recently but in between everything I have been plodding along with the support brackets.
So lots of prepping and painting of the fiddly little things.Then got fed up with the square nuts turning when I was fitting them so rubbed the paint off and loctited them on.

I have replaced the 2.5 button head fixings with M2.

This was the picture I was following for them. I have used Nyloc nuts because the normal plain ones didn't look right. But they can easily be changed if I find something more suitable.

The holes in the glacis were m3 thread, so I drilled and tapped them for an m4 thread. Then made a couple of thread inserts to get down to the m2 thread I required and thread locked the inserts in.

Quite pleased how they came out. Not perfect but I think they are a reasonable representation.
