I have been asked to put on a tank show for my local village day fete. It takes place on the Ruishton village recreation green and we will have a large running area. The fete is on the 19th July 2025, setting up is between 10am and 12am with the show starting at 1pm and finishing about 5pm.
Last year Steve and myself fielded five tanks and a field gun and despite the weather it was a success and the children loved it.
I intend to raise funds at the fete for Guide Dogs for the Blind as I am a volunteer and have set myself a target for the year of £2500.
Ruishton is within a mile of Junction 25 on the M5 in Somerset so access is very easy and we can park vans behind our display area for access.
I will have three tanks, a QF 17 PDR with limber and possibly the Bailey bridge but really need some help to make the display interesting.
