Militracks 2025

Post by Armortek »

Earlier this week we were informed by the Overloon War Museum that due to commercial reasons they are having a re-think about how they organise and manage Militracks for 2025.

As a result, Armortek Hill will not be available and there will not be a running area for us. Therefore, at this time, we are not planning on a having a presence at Militracks 2025.

I know this is disappointing news for many of you, as the event, meticulously coordinated by Kees and Marco, has been a highlight on the calendar.

On a more positive note, the Museum appreciate the entertainment that Armortek models provide for visitors, and we will continue to work together to find a way to collaborate going forwards. As the saying goes, when a door closes a window opens.

That's a shame. I had started to think about booking ferries and accommodation. I really enjoyed the event this year, meeting new people and seeing so many Armortek models running all at once. So, what alternatives are there?

I was just speaking to a friend about this as I was hoping to make 2025 the year I could actually break away and attend this event!
I even began looking into getting someone to 'house sit' and care for my feathered friends...
